Hope has a beautiful nature she does not bite, kick, bolt or buck. She is easy to catch, float and is not a problem for the farrier. Hope has never raced i have traced her brand and she hasn't had a start at all, i have never seen her trot ( im sure she was supposed to be a trotter as she has a beautiful long trot) she will run around paddock going from trot to canter perfectly.
I have used Hope as a leadline for my 11 year old and lead her off another horse she was great with both. Hope is the perfect horse to mount i'm pretty short and she is a big girl so i have climed fences, pulled chairs up close to her to get on and she didn't move. Getting her gear on is not a problem although she does like to put her head up while putting on bridle but she does this once and is fine. Off lead hope can be a bit unsure so an intermediate rider would be best. She responds well to leg aids and is not a spooky horse. Hope has a large scar on her side i'm unsure how this happened but it doesn't affect her at all and is hidden by the saddle.
If Hope isn't rugged she will get QLD Itch at the moment she has a Caribu rug on and its perfect she has no QLD Itch which will come with her, she looks after her rug's and is fantastic to put on/ take off rug. When i brought her she had bad QLD Itch down her neck and bum it didn't take long to clear up and her mane and tail are growing back nicely. You can touch her on the inside of her legs, under her belly and she's not fazed. There is no need for hard feed she has kept her condition well with only hay.
